THE MOST COMMON PROBLEMS ASSOCIATED WITH DIRTY COMPONENTS OF YOUR HVAC SYSTEM:

1) Reduces the efficiency of the A/C and heating system.
2) Increases cooling and heating energy costs.
3) Increases equipment breakdown.
4) Breeding ground for bacteria and mildew, causing allergies to the members of your household (dirty evaporator coils).
5) Clogs drain line (dirty evaporator coils).
6) Reduces air flow
7) Reduces the sucktion in a return part

THE MOST VITAL PARTS OF YOUR HVAC SYSTEM ARE:

Evaporator coil.

An evaporator coil is a vital part of any cooling system. It absorbs heat when air is passed through it. These coils look like a series of copper pipes. The blower motor inside a furnace passes the household air through the coil, which absorbs the air’s heat and sends it back into the house as cold air through the air ducts.Signs of a clogged evaporator coil:

1) Low air flow.

2) Air not cooling or heating well.

3) High humidity inside home.

Blower motor.

A blower motor literally is a motor that pushes the air to your house. A blower motor has fins that are specifically designed to push around air. Any dirt on those blades will cause your blower motor to work harder.

Signs of a dirty blower motor:
1) Furnace is short cycling (turning on and off frequently)
2) Furnace does not operate at all
3) Weak air flow
4) Noise coming from the furnace

Outside condenser.

It looks like a big metal box, and usually located outside the house either right on a ground or on a roof. It helps the refrigerant to cool down and pushes it back to inside unit by increasing pressure in a system.

Signs of dirty condenser coil:

1) Your home can’t get cool enough.
2) Your utility bills are going up
3) Your system does not kick on when it is set on cool
4) The fan inside the condenser does not start

Air filters.

Furnace filters pickup the airborne elements (such as pollen, pet dander, dust, dirt etc), preventing them from circulating through your vents. If these filters are not cleaned or replaced on time, they cannot perform their duty well, and indoor air becomes more and more contaminated over time, causing the inhabitants allergies and other respiratory problems.
